Is cardboard the new carbon fiber?

This was another happenstance finding via a Facebook friend: a cardboard bicycle. As someone who is keenly interested in the development of very inexpensive machines, this article really struck me. And as an engineer, I have to say I was pretty impressed with the work that went into this project.
